Training is the difference between 'they bought it' and 'they use it'. Our role-based certification program trains estimators, PMs, accounting, and field teams on the workflows that matter to them — not the kitchen-sink tour.
What's included
- Live cohort training (4-12 attendees per session)
- On-demand video library covering every workflow
- Trade-specific tracks (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire-protection)
- Certification exam + badge issuance
- Role-based curricula: estimator, PM, accounting, field, owner
- Train-the-trainer for orgs that want to do internal rollouts

Process
How the engagement runs

Pre-training
Role assessment — what each attendee already knows. Curriculum tailored to skill gaps.
- 02
Live session(s)
Hands-on with real bids. Q&A time. Recording shared with attendees + team for re-watch.
- 03
Practice + certification
Two weeks of practice on assigned exercises, then a 30-minute certification exam. Pass = certified.
FAQ
Common questions
- Do you train remotely or on-site?
- Both. Remote (Zoom + screen share) is the default. On-site available for larger cohorts; travel cost is custom-quoted in the engagement statement of work.
- Is the certification recognized externally?
- Internal to OmniTakeoff. Certified estimators get a badge on their profile + LinkedIn. Some industry trade associations are exploring external recognition; not yet ratified.
