Pilot Program
We don't offer free trials. Here's why.
Pilots are scoped + paid; the platform-license cost is refunded if outcomes don't hit. Free trials don't drive enough commitment to surface real pilot data. Pilots do. Same risk profile, better learning.
Why pilots, not free trials
Three reasons the pilot model works better
- 01
Free trials don't drive commitment
Customers who get genuinely-free trials tend to use them as evaluation theater rather than as a real test. Paid pilots produce meaningfully more bid throughput during the evaluation window — the product only proves itself with real data.
- 02
Pilots have outcome commitments
We commit to a defined ROI metric (e.g. an estimator-time-saved or bid-throughput goal calibrated to your baseline) in the pilot scoping call. At pilot-end we measure together. If we miss, the platform-license cost is refunded.
- 03
Pilots include onboarding
Pilot fee covers seats for the first month + onboarding sessions + dedicated CSE during the trial. The specific fee is set in the pilot scoping call based on seat count and integration scope.
What's included
Scoped. Paid. Credit-back if we miss.
- Two estimator seats for the first month (Professional tier features)
- 4 onboarding sessions: kickoff, training, mid-pilot review, final review
- Dedicated customer success engineer for the duration
- Symbol library seeding from 3 reference projects
- Real-time Slack support during business hours
- Mid-pilot outcome target review at week 2
- Full credit-back if outcomes don't hit at week 4
Outcome targets
What we commit to
At the kickoff call, we agree on specific outcome targets together. These are the standard defaults; we'll tailor to your trade and team.
Takeoff time per bid
Meaningful reduction
Average vs. your existing process
Bid throughput per estimator
Meaningful improvement
More bids per month, same headcount
Bid-day defect rate
Meaningful reduction
Typos + outliers caught pre-submission
Win rate lift
+3-6 pp
Higher quality + bid coverage
Time to first shipped bid
<5 days
From pilot start to first paid bid
Estimator NPS at week 4
+25 or better
Pre-pilot vs. post-pilot delta
Risk profile
Why this is risk-free for you
Scoped pilot fee
The pilot fee — set in the scoping call — is the only money on the table during the pilot. No setup fees, no add-ons, no surprise charges.
Credit-back guarantee
If outcomes don't hit at pilot-end, we refund the platform-license cost. Your pilot data + the recognizer's training annotations belong to you.
No long-term commitment
After pilot signoff, you can sign month-to-month at standard pricing. Annual plans optional, not required.
FAQ
Common questions
- Why isn't there a free trial?
- Free trials don't drive enough commitment to surface real pilot data. Pilot customers run more bids and produce more feedback during the evaluation window than free-trial customers do. Pilot fee is credit-back if outcomes don't hit, so it's risk-free if we don't deliver.
- What happens if outcomes don't hit?
- Full credit-back of the platform-license cost, no questions. We'd rather refund than have an unhappy customer. The refund commitment is real and contractual; we will not publish historical refund counts on this page (those are program-internal statistics shared with prospects under NDA on discovery).
- Can I extend the pilot?
- Yes — extension terms are agreed in the pilot scoping call. Most extensions happen because the customer hit outcomes but wants more time to get full team coverage on the recognizer. Optional, not pressured.
- How does the pilot compare to a paid plan?
- Pilot uses Professional tier features. Paid plans (Starter and Professional published on /small-business; Enterprise custom-quoted) start after pilot signoff. Pilot fee is NOT applied as credit toward paid — it's a separate transaction (paid pilot fees are explicitly NOT pre-payment, by design).
