Exporting an estimate to QuickBooks

Push approved estimates as QuickBooks Estimates. Cost codes round-trip so the GL stays clean.

Once an estimate is approved, you can push it to QuickBooks Online as an Estimate (or Invoice if the project has won).

One-time setup

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks Online.
  2. Click 'Connect' and complete the OAuth flow with your QuickBooks credentials.
  3. Review the cost-code mapping. OmniTakeoff CSI divisions map to QuickBooks classes by default; override per-division if your QB chart of accounts differs.

Per-bid push

  1. On the estimate detail page, click 'Export → QuickBooks Estimate'.
  2. Choose the QuickBooks customer (or create one in-flow).
  3. Confirm the line-item rollup. By default lines roll up by CSI division; you can choose 'flat' for one row per OmniTakeoff line item.
  4. Click 'Push to QuickBooks'. The estimate appears in QB within 30 seconds.
