Comparing two drawing revisions

Use Drawing Version Compare to see exactly what changed between Issued for Bid and Addendum 4 — page-level + spec-section diffs.

When the architect drops Addendum 4 on a Friday afternoon, you don't have time to scroll through 92 pages comparing each one. Drawing Version Compare narrows the work to only the pages that materially changed.

Step-by-step

On the Documents tab, find the original drawing set + the addendum revision
Click 'Compare versions' on the addendum (the system pre-pairs it with the previous version)
Review the page-level diff: each page tagged Added / Removed / Modified / Unchanged
Open the spec-section diff for any newly-added or removed CSI sections
Re-takeoff only the affected pages by selecting them from the diff list and running 'Re-process selected pages'

Tip

Sheet-aware pairing handles mid-set inserts: when the addendum adds a new sheet between two existing ones, we still pair the surrounding pages correctly instead of misaligning by index.
